Data Sheet

“Local Nicaragua” Is a store that sells furniture and fabrics. the work is the result of the reform and expansion of a “casa chorizo”(housing typology of historical value to the city), in a lot of 8,66 x 20.50mts. Reuse, recycling, restoration, enhancement, permanence, temporality, rupture, mimesis are some of the concepts that we were intended to highlight, through the intervention.
Everything existing that we consider valuable should be preserved and restored, respecting its architectural character and original symbolic. Everything new that would form part of the expansion would be expressed in a contemporary language being a clear reflection of these times. We both parts acquire greater value for their individual and contrasted character.
